Gay Rights Advocates Call Out Dozens of Oklahoma bills

Gay rights advocates aren’t backing down, even in Oklahoma where the state has been called out on dozens of discriminatory bills according to Troy Stevenson, the director of the gay rights group Freedom Oklahoma.

In response to the controversy he said,

“They would rather talk about how to harm a community, how to tell us that members of our community are not allowed to use a public restroom, or to tell us … that business owners should be allowed to exclude us from their businesses,”

The fact that we have governments that want to focus on denying gays equal rights, rather than say combating drug companies that are turning people into heroin addicts, crack addicts, violent criminals or illegal immigrants? But instead they continue to target gays time and time again.
